Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the consequences of virtue in governmental organizations using a hybrid qualitative approach. This research was conducted in the framework of a qualitative approach and using the hyper-combined method with the seven-step approach of Sandlowski and Barroso (2007). The statistical population of the study includes all Persian and English researches and studies published in the field of organizational virtue outcomes between 2000 and 2024. In this regard, the keywords related to the purpose of the research were searched and the obtained articles and documents were examined using purposive sampling method and according to the acceptance criteria. Finally, 38 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Were analyzed using three-step coding method (open, axial, selective) through maxqda 2020 software. The reliability of the codings was confirmed using the kappa agreement coefficient in SPSS software with a value of 0.78 and the findings were provided to 2 qualitative research experts to evaluate the validity of the research. Based on the results of data analysis, 146 open codes were identified for data collection, which were classified into 49 subcategories and 4 main categories, which are individual outcome, organizational outcome, social outcome and job outcome. The results showed that the presence of virtue in the organization can increase positive human interactions and increase employee efficiency and have good internal and external consequences for the organization.
